They compete with the other plants

•For water
•For enough space to grow
They cause harm to the useful plants and destroy the environment.
Weed is a major threat to farmers..
To avoid these weeds "Weedicides" are used...

Examples of weeds:-

•Pigweed
•Wild Mustard
•Vinca
•Ivy

A weed is any plant that have some form of action against to its effect of the economy. Weeds are referred to as plants that are invasive.

Generally, weeds are producing high number of seeds, these are helping to spread them quickly in their surroundings.

Usually, weeds have high survival capability and reproduction and distribution of weed into the environments and are often the first species to colonize and dominate under these conditions.

A weed can be an exotic species or a native species colonizing and persisting in an ecosystem that has not existed before.

Examples: Oxalis, Bermuda grass.
