diameter of conical tent = 10m
radius, r = 10/2 = 5m
slant height, l = 4.2m

surface area of cone = πrl =  \frac{22}{7} \times 5 \times 4.2= 66\ m^2

width of canvas cloth, b = 3m
let the length = l

Area of canvas cloth = surface area of cone
⇒ l×b = 66
⇒ l = 66/3 = 22m

Length of canvas is 22m.

d=10m r=5m Slant ht=4.2m Area of cone=πrl=22/7×5×4.2 =66m Area of canvas cloth=surface area of clone l×b=66 l=66/3=22m
