We only know about small fraction of universe. Universe was earlier thought to be made of protons, electrons and neutrons which makes up baryonic matter. But now the Universe is thought to be made of normal matter, dark energy and dark matter. Normal matter consists of stars. planets , we humans. Dark energy is an unknown form of energy which is supposed to lead to expansion of universe. Dark matter is unseen matter that does not emit any detectable radiation . It is mysterious and unseen

The universe is made up of matter and gases. . It consists of large number of galaxies which consists of billions of stars,planets and satellites
