There are many places where the ocean currents meet. At such coverging points, the place become a little foggy as the overlying air which warm and cold due to the current tend to meet.
Such places are highly productive in biological terms as well since the mixing of warm and cold water in the ocean also encourages the growth of planktons.
Thus, these converging points of ocean currents form rich and productive fishing grounds which are of great use to man.
