If we add 2 in this eqn. it becomes
4x^2–12x+9
Now we can write
(2x)^2–2×2x×3+(3)^2 and this eqn. satisfy the formula
(a-b)^2=(a)^2- 2ab+ (b)^2
Where a=2x, b=3
Then
(2x)^2–2×2x×3+(3)^2 = (2x-3)^2
And it is term of whole square so answer is 2.
