Here,
Dividend=4x³+16x²-x+5
Divisor=x+5
(__) (4x²-4x+19)
x+5)4x³+16x²-x+5
(__)4x³+20x²
(______)-4x²-x
(______)-4x²-20x
(__________)19x+5
(__________)19x+95
(_____________)-90 After division we have,
Quotient=4x²-4x+19
Remainder=-90

Hence -90 must be subtracted from 4x³+16x²-x+5 so that it is exactly divisible by x+5.
