Let the number which is subtracted from -3/4 be 'x'

ATQ

-3/4-x=5/6

=> -x = 5/6+3/4

The difference of two numbers =5/6

let be the second number =x

the first number=-3/4

so,

-3/4-x 5/6

-x+=5/6 +3/4

-x=. 18+20 /24

-x=38/24

- x=.19 /12

x=-19/12
