Hans J Eysenck was a famous criminologist during the 1960s.  He believed that crime was related to personality types. He listed those personality types as Psychotism, extroverts and neuroticism.  Psychotics lack empathy and are driven by anti-social behaviour.  Extroverts have excessively high energy and those with dominating attitude can turn to crime for gaining warlth and power.  Neuroticism including shyness, moody nature and irrational behaviour can lead to crime in search of mental peace.
