PH is a scale , PH of any solution is defined as " numerical value of negative logarithm of the concentration of hydrogen ion which contains .
e.g PH = -log[ H+]
example :- concentration of any solution is 0.001 mol/L then find the PH of that solution.
so, PH = -log( 10-³)
PH = 3
