The most important component in cellular respiration is Glucose. This is an important source of energy in a cell.
It facilitates the preliminary reaction in the cell known as Glycolysis, in which Glucose is divided into 2 parts.
Similarly glucose is also important for fermentation as yeast is introduced to ferment Glucose into smaller byproducts.
