The victory of Turks over Constantinople played an important role in the rise of Renaissance. Many Greek scholars fled to Italy after the fall of Constantinople.They carried them with classic Greek literature which was translated in Latin.The content and information contained in these classic works played an influential role in the intellectual life of Renaissance.
Besides the fall of Constantinople lead European countries to search alternative routes for trade with East. It resulted in exploration and discovery of new sea routes and New World which was another hallmark of Renaissance.
