screen resolution and display resolution are same, I believe.  The resolution is usually measured as  the number of pixels in the horizontal direction X  number of pixels in the vertical direction.

Each screen / display consists of a mesh - matrix structure of  picture elements.  There are rows and columns of of these.    they are like dots.  Each dot can be lit up in any color including black color and its shades.

Screen Resolution

--------------

Screen Resolution is the count of no of pixels on screen

--------------

While measuring screen resolution we have to find no of Horiozanatal and Vertical pixels and we have to multiply them.

------------------

Types of screen Resolution:

1) FHD (720p): This is Just HD resolution

2) FHD+ (1080p): In this more pixels are on screen

3) 4k: In this there are 16 Million pixels and it is very clear
