d= (-6)

-4+d=x
-4+(-6)=x    {plus and minus =minus}
-4-6=-12   {minus and minus is plus but as the nos. are negative negative                      symbol will come before the integers}

she might have taken -4+6 instead of taking -4-6

-4+(-6)=x
-4-6=x
x=-12

In the second step, Reeta might have taken -4+6, so she got the answer as 2. But its wrong.
