Festivals are a great time to meet up with family and friends, but it also the time to be extra cautious. Makar sankranti is all about prayers, sweets, kites and having fun with your loves ones. This day is however the worst day for birds. People should avoid the use of glass-coated manja, which is really sharp and causes accidents.
_DONATING FOOD, CLOTHES AND NO HARMS TO BIRDS_

Makar sankranti is a good reason to help people in different ways. On the other hand, people do enjoy this festival by flying colourful kites also. However, this safety of flying creatures is an important aspect that has to be kept in mind. Those flying kites should not use Chinese manjga or glass coated threads as it injures or kills birds.
NO HARMS TO BIRDS
Makar Sankranti is a festival of kites and enjoyment. It is one of the most important Hindu festivals in India. The southernmost parts India also celebrate this festival as Pongal, while Maghi is celebrated in Punjab. I wish all should be celebrated without harming the birds and humans.

Makar Sankranti is a colourful which I absolutely love. I appeal to avoid use if Chinese thread as it injures a lot of birds as well as humans. This year give blankets, clothes, sweets and food to needy people, instead. It will give you blessings. I would also avoid loudspeakers because it hurts animals like cats and dogs as it causes panic in their ears. This festival should be celebrated peacefully.
