ATQ, we've to find the number which when added to 3/4 results 0.

let the number be x.

therefore x + 3/4 = 0

⇒ (4x + 3)/4 = 0

⇒ 4x + 3 = 0

⇒ 4x = -3

⇒ x = -3/4

VERIFICATION :-

LHS :-

= -3/4 + 3/4

= (-3 + 3)/4

= 0/4 = 0

RHS :-

= 0

hence verified! the value of x = -3/4
