Let x should be subtracted,

(3/4 -2/3)-x = -1/6

{(9-8)/12} -x = -1/6

1/12 -x = -1/6

1/12 +1/6 = x

(1+2)/12 = x

3/12 =x

1/4 = x

1/4 should be subtracted.

I hope this will help you
