Sprinkler irrigation is a method of applying irrigation water which is similar to natural rainfall. Water is distributed through a system of pipes usually by pumping.

The sprinkling tubes release little amount of water. This agriculture method is commonly practise where there is uneven or irregular land or cultivating area. Or where there is less water supply.
