The Correct option is A.

A line and a point can be collinear...

This is a possible case... Even the option inserts 'can' meaning it can be and theres also the negative possiblility...

Reasons for Wrong options...

B-)
a line has infinitely many points located on it.But a point has exact location....

C-)
Its clearly wrong... a point has a definite location... and A line is infinitely long... That Dosen't mean it dosen't have dimensions... Both have dimensions....

D-) It is a possible case... But it can also be wrong..... It' not a satement so Wrong option....

General Critera...

Stament→A sentence which is either right or wrong...
D->not a statement.

Correct statement→A sentence which is right/correct.
Only A matches all the critera.
So A is your answer....

Hope it Helps...
