The five steps which should be taken to increase non-farm production activities in villages are:

1. Dairy: Dairy is common activity in rural India. milk is produced from the farmers at the village cooperative societies and his attention to the district Cooperative Dairy Union by trucks in Cans or by tankers.

2. Shopkeeping: there are few shopkeepers in each and every village there by various goods from wholesale markets in the cities and sell them in the village.

3. Small Scale Manufacturing: Unlike the manufacturing that takes placein the big factories in the towns and cities manufacturing in villages involve very simple production methods and are done on a small scale.

4. Transport: there are variety of vehicles on the road connecting different villages.

5.Handicraft: It is also the non farm activity practised by villagers to earn their living.
