Napoleon, in order to make the whole system rational and efficient he introduced THE CIVIL CODE OF 1804- usually known as nepoleonic code- did away all privileges based on birth, established equality before the law and secured right to property . He simplified the administration, abolished feudal system and helped peasants. transportation and communication were improved. everyone felt very happy as all were treated equally before the law!!
