The Wright-Humason school was specially designed for deaf people and was made for the purpose of teaching lip reading to students. In this school, Hellen Keller learned various subjects which included; French, German, Arithmetic and Physical Geography. Out of all the subjects Hellen made progress in German because of her interest in it and also she admired her teacher because it was easier for her to understand. The teachers at Wright-Humason school always tried to give the students the best possible experience which those who could hear enjoy, this played an important role in Hellen Keller's life.
