liberals : liberals wanted a nation which tolerated all religions.they also opposed the uncontrolled power of by dynastic rulers. they wanted to safeguard the rights of individuals against governments.they argued for representative, elected parliamentary government, subject to laws interpreted by a well-trained judiciary that was indipendent of rulers and official . however they were not democrats as they don't believe in universal adult franchise . they also didn't want vote for women.
radicals : they wanted a nation in which government was based on the majority of the country's population. they supported women's suffrage movement.they opposed the privileges of great landlords and wealthy factory owners . they were not against the existence of private property but dislike the concentration of property in the hands of few.
conservative : they were against both radicals and liberals.after french revolution. however conservative had opened their minds to the need of change but they believed that past had to be respected and change had to be brought about through a slow process.
