What was the reason for Indian opposition to roulette act???

This act was firmly opposed by the Indian people because this act gave unjust right to Police to detain any person without listening his/her favor. Indian Leaders thought that this actcan cause a big blunder in the country. Hence, they called upon a movement to oppose this “Exploiting Act”.

ROWLATT ACT or BLACK ACT was introduced in the year 1919 february.......it allowed the BRITISH to arrest and imprison any indian without any warrant, indefinite detention without TRIAL........
