Heya friend,
Here's your answer,
The two gentlemen of Verona, Jacopo and Nicola, at a very young age, beared a very huge responsibility on their shoulders.
They had to earn enough money to pay for the hospital bills of their sister Lucia, who lived in Poleta, who was suffering from the tuberculosis of the spine.
The two boys lost their parents in the war and it shattered their sister too. But, it could not devastate the hopes of the two boys for a better tomorrow.
They loved their sister immensely and worked day and night in order to reach the requirements of the hospital. They hawked newspapers, sold fruits, conducted tourists round the town and ran errands. They did whatever they could do for their sister and believed that one day, Lucia would be back on her feet once again.....
Hope this helps!!!
