When J. and George come back from their walk round Henley, Harris tells them that he had a very bad experience with the swans. He tells that, by mistake, he had mounted the boat near to a swans nest and when the swan returned he kicked a row at the boat. Although Harris frightened it away, it returned with some 18 swans after half an hour and attacked the boat. Harris tells that he had a great fight with them and at last, the swans had paddled away to die and had even killed some of them. But later in the morning, Harris seems to remember nothing  of such sort and thinks that they were dreaming.
