Mission Kakatiya - This programme is aimed at restoring 46,300 tanks in five years spending Rs 20,000 crore. The initiative will improve the ground water table, reduce the power consumption by farm sector, get higher yields, spur the growth of livestock and rejuvenate rural economy on the whole.
