Guru Gobind Singh fought with the combined forces of the Rajas of Shivalik Hill area in the Battle of Bhagnani in the year 1686.

Raja Bhim Singh could not tolerate the popularity of the Guru and wanted to harass him.

He tried to overpower Guru Gobind Singh in any pretext and ultimately attacked his two followers. It made Guru Gobind Singh angry, and the battle took place.
