1-The feeling of alienation developed in srilanka because of act 1956.According to this act sinhala was recognise as an official language, thus disregarding tamil.The goverment followed policies that favored sinhala applicants for university position and government jobs.A new constitution allowed state to protect Buddhism.
All this government measures,coming one by one,gradually increased the feeling of alienation among sri Lanka tamil.
2-It result adversely which ultimately let the civil war between Sinhala and sri Lanka Tamil and 1000 of people was killed in that war.
