→Kabir believed that god is one and formless(nirguna) even though different religious groups give him different names and forms.He preached that god could be reached in various ways.

→Kabir condemned discrimination on the basis pf religion,caste and wealth.He also rejected meaningless rituals.He conveyed simple messages through different types of poems,including Dohas,Bishnupadas and Sakhis.

→Kabir's verses were composed in the Bhojpuri language mixed with Urdu .The Kabir Granthavali and the Bijak contains collections of Kabir's verses.
