narrator met with these two boys on the out skirts of the verona city while they were selling wild stawberries .he believe that they could find better stawberries in whole .but after seeing their hardwork narrator felt dazed his though gone underchanged

Narrator's feeling for Nicola and Jacopo:
When the narrator saw Nicola and Jacopo, the first impression he had on them was that they were hardworking and were collecting money to emigrate to the united states for a fresh start of their life.
Later on when the narrator learned the actual reason of them collecting the money, his heart was filled with empathy and love for them. His eyes now had a different respect for both Nicola and Jacopo.
