The Hukamnamas are the letters sent by the Guru to the Sikhs. These are the most valuable historical documents which contain the names of persons, places and provide information about how Sikhism spread geographically.
It also contains Guru’s order to the followers of Sikhism to nurture love and do prayers bringing offerings. T
hese offerings demand contribution in the form of gold, cash, or Hundi’s. The Sikh followers should give offerings directly to the Guru’s.
