By Pythagoras theorem we will find perpendicular
 {p}^{2}  +  {b}^{2}  =  {h}^{2}  \\  {p}^{2} +  {8}^{2}   =  {10}^{2}  \\   {p}^{2}  + 64 = 100 \\   {p}^{2}  = 100 - 64 \\   {p}^{2}  = 36 \\   p =  \sqrt{36}  = 6
perpendicular ie height =6cm
now area of the triangle
 \frac{1}{2}  \times base \times height = area \\  \frac{1}{2}  \times 6 \times 8 = area \\ area = 24 {m}^{2}
