 =  > 40x +  \frac{40x}{x - 4}  =  \frac{50}{6}

 =  >  \frac{40x(x - 4) + 40x}{x - 4} =  \frac{50}{6}

 =  >  \frac{40 {x}^{2} - 160x + 40x }{x - 4}  =  \frac{50}{6}

 =  >  \frac{40 {x}^{2}  - 120x}{x - 4}  =  \frac{50}{6}

 =  > 240 {x}^{2}  - 720x = 50x - 200

 =  > 240 {x}^{2}  - 720x - 50x + 200 = 0

 =  > 240 {x}^{2}  - 770x + 200 = 0

=>taking 10 common from whole equation:-

 =  > 24 {x}^{2}  - 77x + 20 = 0

Now,Here we use quadratic formula to find out the roots:-

Here,a=24;b=-77 & c=20

 =  > x =  \frac{ -b±  \sqrt{ {b}^{2}  - 4ac} }{2a}

 =  > x =  \frac{77± \sqrt{5929 - 1920} }{40}

 \bold{=  > x =  \frac{77± \sqrt{4009} }{40} }
