What will happen if only leguminous plants are grown on a field?

Having only leguminous plants on a field can lead to the following possible problems:
1)If carried out repeatedly  can lead to the depletion of the nutrients the plants are dependent on leading to an imbalanced soil ecosystem.
2)This can lead to pest and parasites build up that can seriously harm the plants.
