What will happen if we put a plant or an animal cell in an isotonic solution?

Hii..

As the name itself suggests isotonic means having same concentration as outer environment

so if cells and outer environment remains same there will be no effect on cell I.e hypotonic or hypertonic situation doesn't arise..
