Kinetic energy of an object is
E= mv²/2
Now assume that velocity has become 2v
So now kinetic energy E₀ will become
E₀ = m(2v)²/2=2mv³
Now we can observe that
E₀ = 4E
So if velocity is doubled Kinetic energy will get 4 times.
