when we place a current carrying conductor in the magnetic field then it experience a force
which can be measured by the Flemming's left hand rule which suggests that
keep your three finger - fore finger, thumb,middle finger such that the fore finger show the direction of magnetic field , middle finger show the direction of current than the thumb show the force acting on the current carrying conductor
it also have formula to find the magnetude of the force
f = bli
where b is the magnetic field
l is the length of the conductor
I is the current
and keep your there finger perpendicular to each other
and it is applicable when the direction of current and magnetic field lines are perpendicular to each other
