If a single organism be the food of various others then :

1. Its population will be rare.

2. Dependency on a certain organism will be more.

answer :- if one organisms forms food for different organisms in the ecosystem, there will be lot of competition among those organisms for food if any one species gets wiped off, one level of ecological pyramid will be disturbs and may disturb the organisms at all level of the pyramid.
