What would Earth be like without the greenhouse effect?

The greenhouse effect describes Earth's ability to trap heat within the atmosphere. Without this process, Earth would be a very different place. While the greenhouse effect is important for life on Earth, it exists in a delicate balance.

without the green house effect earth would be a solid ball of ice and rock . life as we know it would not be able to exist without greenhouse gases in the atmosphere . without these heat trapping gases out planet's average temperature would pelmmet to about zero degree Celsius .
