hey dude,

Parthenogenesis is gonna happen if syngamy does not occur
In that, female gametes undergo development to form an organism without fertilization

eg: Honey bee, Rotifers, some lizards, some birds like turkeys

(Parthenogenesis is a variation in sexual reproduction)
Parthenogenesis is of two types, haploid Parthenogenesis and diploid Parthenogenesis , but its not in the 12th syllabus

Peace out! :)

sygnamy is the fusion of male and female gamete to form a new zygote .if sygnamy does not occur there will be no zygote formation and no sexual reproduction wikl take place . also without fusion no new generation will take place
