The handles of cooking utensils made up of hard plastics and woods ' cause most of utensils are made up of metals as we know that metals are good conductor of heat. So plastics prevent us from burning our hands.

They can get heated up faster.
When we touch the handles we may get burn because of heat.
→Using handles made of plastic or wood can stop being burned.

As we know that metals have a property of conducting heat it will be a problem if handles are made up of same type.
