There are infinite rational numbers between 2.2 and 2.3( and infinite irrational too)

The middle of two rational numbers is always rational

Let the middle of 2.3 and 2.2 is A

Then the middle of 2.3 and A is B

Then the middle of 2.3 and B is C

And so on and so forth

Following the rule on the second line, A must be rational, so B must be rational, so C must be rational, ect.
