whats the difference between biconvex lens and double convex lens

biconvex lens have to convex surfaces on both sides...double convex lens have two convex surfaces after then after in one bulged side

• A convex lens would be more properly called plano-convex. It is flat (hence "plano-", from "plane") on one side, convex on the other.

Double-convex is like two of those put flat side to flat side.
