When 10 gram of sulphur is burnt in 10 gram of oxygen 20 gram of sulphur dioxide is produced find mass of sulphur dioxide formed on burning 20 gram of sulphur in 30 gram of oxygen justify your answer by studying law which governs your answer?

40g of sulphur dioxide will be formed this is due to the law of constant proportion.according to which sulphur and oxygen would combine in fixed ratio to form sulphur dioxide which is 1:1. the remaining 10g oxygen will be unreacted.
