When 50g of sugar is dissolved in 100 m L of water ,there is no increase in volume . Give reason

because all particles of matter has some space between them according to their state
and the when sugar is dissolve in water it's particles overcome the force of attractions and there are some space between the molecules of water the particles of sugar goes between the space of molecules of water
