Electromagnetic Induction is the phenomenon.
#It is directly proportional to the rate of change of magnetic flux.
#Direction of deflection depends on the polarity of the bar magnet brought close to the coil. It always tends to oppose the cause that creates it.Ex: if south polarity is brought close to one side of the coil, that side will develop a north polarity.
The law is Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction.
