When a child is born then why they keep them in glass boxes?

Not all children are kept in the glass boxes.
Only those children who after being born are weak and cannot survive on their own, are kept in these boxes. There they are provided with the necessary nutrients to grow healthy.
Once they are fit and strong enough to survive on their own, they are discharged and sent.
