we know that Angular momentum L = I×angular velocity
when the skater pulls in her Arms.... the total mass of the skater comes nearer to the axis of rotation.. due to which the value of I decreases... but since no extrenal force is acting on her. the momentum remains conserved.
therefore.. with decrease in I.. the Angular velocity of the skater increases
