The reccesive trait remains there but it does not show its characteristics. Thus, the progeny(new generation) does not contain any middle sized plants. When Mendel crossed a tall plant with a dwarf plant no medium height plants were obtained in generation.

This is due to dominant of character which is possessed by only one parent out of two the two Which shows that his gene are shown in his progeny and other parent plays a recessive roll
