When does the chromatin network separate out to form chromosomes

in the time of cell division chromosomes divides into small thin like thread like structure called chromatin which contain DNA or gene

During interphase, chromatin is in least condensed form and its hard to differentiate. It is loosely distributed inside the cell. When the prophase starts, chromatin material starts condensing and become complete thread like structures called chromosomes at the end of this stage.

In the rest of the cell division phases, it remains condensed in a form of chromosomes.
